۞ How many an angel is there in the heavens whose intercession shall not benefit until Allah gives permission to whom He will and is pleased. 26 Those who do not believe in the world to come name the angels with the names of females. 27 and [since] they have no knowledge whatever thereof, they follow nothing but surmise: yet, behold, never can surmise take the place of truth. 28 Therefore turn aside from him who turns his back upon Our reminder and does not desire anything but this world's life. 29 That is their highest point of knowledge. Verily thine Lord! it is He Who is the Best Knower of him who strayeth from His way, and He is the Best Knower of him who letteth himself be guided. 30 And to Allah only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, in order to repay those who do evil for what they have done, and give an excellent reward to those who do good. 31 Those who avoid the heinous sins and indecencies, save lesser offences surely thy Lord is wide in His forgiveness. Very well He knows you, when He produced you from the earth, and when you were yet unborn in your mothers' wombs; therefore hold not yourselves purified; God knows very well him who is godfearing. 32
