Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
