(It will be said to the true believers of Islamic Monotheism): My worshippers! No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve, 68 Those who believed in Our communications and were submissive: 69 "Enter the Garden rejoicing, both you and your spouses!" 70 Golden dishes and cups will be passed among them. All that the souls may desire and that may delight their eyes will be available therein. You will live therein forever. 71 this is the Garden which you will inherit by virtue of your past deeds, 72 You will have abundant fruits therein to consume". 73 [But,] behold, they who are lost in sin shall abide in the suffering of hell: 74 it will not be lightened for them; and therein they will be lost in hopeless despair. 75 Nowise shall We be unjust to them: but it is they who have been unjust themselves. 76 And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith: Lo! here ye must remain. 77 Indeed We have brought the Truth to you, but most of you detest the Truth. 78 Have they determined upon a course? Then We too are determined. 79 Do they fancy that We do not listen to their whispers and their counselling? Why not, We surely do! And Our angels are with them, writing down. 80 Say: “If the Merciful One had a son, I would have been the first one to worship him.” 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! 82 Leave them (to indulge) in their desires and play around until they face that day which has been promised to them. 83 It is God who is the Lord of the heavens and is the Lord on earth. He is All-wise and All-knowing. 84 Blessed is He Who has dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. With Him is the knowledge of the Hour; and to Him you shall all be sent back. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 Now if thou ask those [who worship any being other than God] as to who it is that has created them, they are sure to answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 87 (Allah has knowledge) of the (Prophet's) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!" 88 Yet bear thou with them, and say: "Peace [be upon you]!" - for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 89
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
