The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
