▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
