Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The true event! 1 And what is that indubitable event? 2 And what do you know what that indubitable event is? 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the awful cry! 5 and the 'Ad were destroyed by a furious wind 6 To which He subjected them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that thou mightest have seen men during it lying prostrate, as though they were stumps of palms ruined. 7 Do you see any trace of them? 8 And Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before him, and the cities overthrown [the towns of the people of [Lout (Lot)] committed sin, 9 They did not follow the Messenger of their Lord, and so He seized them with a severe grip. 10 When the flood rose high and covered the whole land, We carried you in the Ark. 11 That We might make it unto you an admonition, and that it might be retained by the retaining ears. 12 So, when the Trumpet is blown with a single blast 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be borne and the twain shall be crushed with a single crash. 14 On that day shall the great event come to pass, 15 And the heaven shall cleave asunder, so that on that day it shall be frail, 16 and the angels shall stand upon its borders, and upon that day eight shall carry above them the Throne of thy Lord. 17 The Day whereon ye shall be mustered nothing hidden by you shall be hidden. 18 So whoever is given his book in his right hand he will say, “Take, read my account!” 19 Surely, I knew that I should meet my reckoning," 20 So he will be in a pleasant life - 21 in a high Garden, 22 Clusters whereof shall be near at hand. 23 “Eat and drink with pleasure the reward of what you sent ahead, in the past days.” 24 However, those who will receive the books of the records of their deeds in their left hands will say, "We wish that this record had never been given to us 25 and had not known my account. 26 Oh, would that this [death of mine] had been the end of me! 27 My riches have availed me not; 28 Gone from me is my authority." 29 Seize him and fetter him, 30 And then expose him to hell-fire 31 "Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! 32 He would not believe in Allah, the Most Great; 33 Nor he urged on others the feeding of the poor. 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 Nor any food save filthy corruption. 36 None will eat it except the sinners. 37

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
