The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
