The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
