The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the night enshrouding 1 and by the day when it breaks in its glory, 2 and by the creation of the male and the female. 3 Indeed your efforts differ. 4 So for one who gave and practised piety 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We shall ease the way of fortune for him. 7 But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need 8 and calls the ultimate good a lie 9 Unto him therefore We shall Indeed make easy the path to hardship. 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And most surely Ours is the hereafter and the former. 13 So, I warn you of the blazing Fire. 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 who denied [the truth], and turned away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 They do not expect any reward 19 But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; 20 and he shall surely be satisfied. 21
Almighty God's Truth.
