The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
