Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif, Lam, Meem. 1 (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 God is He that created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then seated Himself upon the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no protector neither mediator; will you not remember? 4 He directeth the ordinance from the heaven unto the earth; then it ascendeth unto Him in a Day, whereof the measure is a thousand years of that ye reckon. 5 Such is He, the Knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;- 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 then made his progeny from the extract of a mean fluid, 8 Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! 9 And they say: when we are vanished in the earth, shall we then be raised in a new creation? Aye! in the meeting with their Lord they are disbelieving. 10 ۞ Say, "The Angel of Death who has been given charge of you will gather in your souls. Then you will [all] be returned to your Lord." 11
