We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
