The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
