The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
