3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
