The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
