O dear Prophet, did you not see your Lord, how He spread the shade? And if He willed, He could have made it still; then We made the sun a proof upon it. 45 thereafter We seize it to Ourselves, drawing it gently. 46 And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection. 47 And it is He who has loosed the winds, bearing good tidings before His mercy; and We sent down from heaven pure water 48 so that We might revive a dead land, and give to drink of it, of that We created, cattle and men a many. 49 And certainly We have repeated this to them that they may be mindful, but the greater number of men do not consent to aught except denying. 50 Had We pleased We could have raised a warner in every town. 51 So do not listen to the disbelievers and, with this Qur’an, fight a great war against them. 52 ۞ And it is He, Who has let loose the two seas, one palatable and sweet, the other bitter and saltish, and there is a partition between them, which is an insurmountable barrier. 53 And He it is who out of this [very] water has created man, and has endowed him with [the consciousness of] descent and marriage-tie: for thy Sustainer is ever infinite in His power. 54 Yet do they worship, besides Allah, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord! 55 And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner. 56 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for it but this: that each one who will may take a (straight) Path to his Lord." 57 Put your trust in the All Living who never dies, and exalt with His praise, He is sufficiently aware of His worshipers' sins. 58 He who has created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness; the Most Gracious! Ask, then, about Him, [the] One who is [truly] aware. 59 When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth). ۩ 60
