The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
