The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
