Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
