Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
