Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
