And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
