Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
