۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
