The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 has created man, 3 He taught distinctness. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures: 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels, 14 and has created the jinn from the flame of fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 21 There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
