Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
