Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
