AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
