So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of all [the three hundred and sixty (360)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able 40 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan). 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the Day when they shall come forth in haste from their graves, as if racing towards a goal-post, 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
