The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
