The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
