Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
