And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was sickness said: 'Those, their religion has deceived them' But whosoever puts his trust in Allah, indeed Allah is Mighty, Wise. 49 And couldst thou behold when the angels take away the life of those who disbelive striking their faces and their backs: taste the torment of burning. 50 This is your punishment for what your hands wrought. Allah is not unjust in the least to His creatures.' 51 [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. 52 That is so because Allah will never change a grace which He has bestowed on a people until they change what is in their ownselves. And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. 53 Like Pharaoh's people and those who went before them, they denied their Lord's signs: We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned Pharaoh's people -- they were all evil-doers. 54 The most wicked creatures in the sight of God are the unbelievers who never have faith, 55 those of them with whom thou hast made compact then they break their compact every time, not being godfearing. 56 Should you encounter them in war, then deal with them in such a manner that those that follow them should abandon their designs and may take warning. 57 And if thou fearest treachery from any folk, then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly. Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous. 58
