"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
