Al-Mu' minoon 6 of 6
Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
