And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
