Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so called gods). 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary? 77 And [now] he [argues about Us, and] thinks of Us in terms of comparison, and is oblivious of how he himself was created! [And so] he says, "Who could give life to bones that have crumbled to dust?" 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 And is it not possible for the One Who created the heavens and the earth to create the likes of them? It is surely possible, why not? And He is the Great Creator, the All Knowing of everything. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
