Say, "[God says] O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world will have a good reward -- and God's earth is spacious. Truly, those who persevere patiently will be requited without measure." 10 Say: 'I am ordered to worship Allah making my religion sincerely His. 11 "And I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam." 12 Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the Penalty of a Mighty Day." 13 Say: 'I worship Allah and make my religion sincerely His. 14 Serve then what you like besides Him. Say: The losers surely are those who shall have lost themselves and their families on the day of resurrection; now surely that is the clear loss. 15 They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allah does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!" 16 But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants 17 who listen to what is said and follow what is best in it. These are the ones God has guided; these are the people endowed with understanding. 18 On the other hand, could one on whom [God's] sentence of suffering has been passed [be rescued by man]? Couldst thou, perchance, save one who is [already, as it were,] in the fire? 19 But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise. 20 Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding. 21
