Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then he who transgressed 37 preferring the present life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
