Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
