1/4 Hizb 24
< random >
We sent Moses to the Pharaoh and his nobles with Our miracles and a clear authority. 96 to Pharaoh and his Council. But they followed the command of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh's command was not right minded. 97 [And so] he shall go before his people on the Day of Resurrection, having led them [in this world] towards the fire [of the life to come]; and vile was the destination towards which they were led 98 And a curse followed them in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection; what a wretched gift is what they received. 99 That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down]. 100 It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition! 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 Lo! herein verily there is a portent for those who fear the doom of the Hereafter. That is a day unto which mankind will be gathered, and that is a day that will be witnessed. 103 We will only postpone it until a predetermined time, 104 and when that Day arrives, no soul shall speak but by His leave. Among those some shall be damned, and others shall be blessed. 105 As for those who will be wretched (on that day) they will be in the Fire; sighing and wailing will be their portion therein, 106 remaining in it timelessly, for ever, as long as the heavens and earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Your Lord carries out whatever He wills. 107 ۞ And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing. 108 Have no doubt that these people worship (idols). They worship what their fathers had worshipped before them. We will give them the exact recompense that they deserve. 109

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
