۞ Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding - 19 Such as keep the pact of Allah, and break not the covenant; 20 Those who join together those things which Allah hath commanded to be joined, hold their Lord in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning; 21 Patient men, desiring the Face of their Lord, establish their prayers, and spend of what We have given them in private and in public; and who ward off evil with good. Theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode. 22 They shall enter the eternal Gardens of Eden, along with the righteous from among their fathers, wives and descendants. From every gate the angels will come to them, saying, 23 'Peace be to you, for that you were patient' Best is the Ultimate Abode. 24 As for those who break God's covenant after validating it, and sever relations which God ordained cohered, and spread corruption in the land, there is condemnation for them and an evil abode. 25 Allah increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment. 26
