Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
