Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things. 1 Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving, 2 He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? 3 Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out. 4 And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there awaits the punishment of Gehenna (Hell) an evil arrival! 6 When they will be cast into it, they will hear it roar as it boils, 7 It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" 8 'Yes, indeed' they will reply, 'but we belied the Warner (Messenger) saying: 'Allah has not sent down anything, you are but in great error' 9 They will say: 'If we had only listened and understood, we would not be among the inmates of the Blazing Fire.'” 10 They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire! 11 Surely those who fear their Lord in the Unseen -- there awaits them forgiveness and a great wage. 12 And whether you speak softly or proclaim it aloud; He indeed knows what lies within the hearts! 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
