▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
