Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does everyone of them wish to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 Therefore leave them, involved in their indecencies and play, till they confront their day which they are promised. 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44

True are the words of God the Almighty.
