In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 and gently take it away; 2 by those that swim serenely 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: Then that would be a vain proceeding. 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 And they will wake up suddenly. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 Then turned he away in haste, 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
