In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
