(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you are turning away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
